Selma Garrido Pimenta

Senior Full Professor (retired) at the School of Education, University of São Paulo (USP). She holds a Ph.D. in Education from PUC-SP and a postdoctoral degree in Didactics from USP, and has a well-established academic career in the fields of didactics, supervised teaching practicums, teacher education, and higher education. She served as coordinator of the Graduate Program in Education at FE-USP, director of the unit, and associate dean of Undergraduate Studies at USP. She is the author of works widely adopted in teacher education programs and teacher training courses, with academic output recognized both nationally and internationally.
