The IV SESI-SP International Education Congress is an initiative promoted by SESI-SP in partnership with the SESI Faculty of Education, focusing on informed discussions on relevant topics in the field of education.
The IV SESI-SP International Education Congress will be held on May 11 and 12, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., in a hybrid format. In-person participation will be restricted to those registered for this modality and will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, at Avenida Paulista, nº 1313.
The theme of the 2026 edition is Education that transforms, which highlights education as a fundamental force for addressing contemporary social, cultural, and technological challenges, promoting innovative pedagogical practices, equity, social impact, and the formation of critical individuals capable of transforming realities.
The event is jointly organized by the SESI School of Education and SESI-SP.
  • Lectures with nationally and internationally recognized experts.
  • Thematic sessions with presentations of works focused on the following areas: Technology, Inclusion, Educational Management, and Teacher Training.
  • Cultural presentations integrated into the event program.
  • Presentation of the SESI-SP Education Award, in recognition of outstanding practices and initiatives
  • Holding of the Third Youth Forum, in addition to Makerthon and Steam Day activities, focused on innovation and youth leadership.
The conference is open to anyone interested in discussing the challenges and prospects of education, including teachers, administrators, researchers, students, and other professionals in the field of education.

  • ST 1: Transformative Technologies and Educational Innovation: practices that expand learning possibilities: Discusses historical, epistemological, and cultural perspectives of pedagogical practices and curricula that use technologies as catalysts for educational transformation. It covers experiences involving teaching resources, learning experience design, artificial intelligence applied to education, hybrid environments, and technological solutions that promote innovative teaching and learning processes. It values dialogue between Basic Education, Youth and Adult Education, and Higher Education, strengthening intercultural practices, human rights education, ethical coexistence, and the role of technologies in building transformative learning.
  • ST 2: Inclusive Education, Diversity, and Equity: paths to transforming schools into spaces of belonging: Explores historical, epistemological, and cultural perspectives that underpin pedagogical and curricular practices committed to inclusion, diversity, and equity. It considers the exchange between different territories and types of education, such as Rural Education, Indigenous Education, Quilombola Education, Youth and Adult Education (EJA), and Special Education, highlighting actions that recognize identities, pluralities, and rights. It encourages reflection on inclusive educational policies, the use of assistive technologies, and strategies that eliminate barriers, promote accessibility, and strengthen the sense of belonging in the school environment. The focus is on expanding opportunities for transformative learning and building welcoming and equitable educational experiences.
  • ST 3: Transformative Educational Management: collaboration, results, and strengthening school culture: Discusses school management practices and fundamentals guided by diagnostics, strategic planning, and continuous improvement of educational processes. It addresses pedagogical, administrative, and relational management in an integrated manner, focusing on ethical leadership, the use of indicators for decision-making, participatory management, and the construction of consistent organizational environments. It involves topics such as school culture, institutional communication, organizational climate, people management, co-responsibility with families and the community, as well as strategies for conflict prevention and the promotion of safe and welcoming environments. It prioritizes approaches that enhance pedagogical work, strengthen institutional culture, and sustain consistent and socially referenced educational outcomes.
  • ST 4: Initial and Continuing Teacher Training: training practices that transform teaching: Brings together reflections and experiences on initial and continuing teacher training, educational residency, supervised internships, the development of teaching practices, and training programs aligned with contemporary demands. It analyzes how training processes integrate diverse knowledge, promote innovation, strengthen professional teaching identity, and qualify pedagogical practices that transform learning. It values reports of experiences, research, and proposals that highlight the centrality of teacher training in educational transformation.

The submission and evaluation of academic papers at the IV SESI-SP International Education Congress will take place in three stages, according to criteria defined by the Scientific Committee:
  • Step 1: Submission of the Abstract.
  • Deadline: March 31, 2026.
  • Authors should submit a simple abstract, following the guidelines provided in the specific call for papers.
  • The Scientific Committee will evaluate the abstracts with the following opinions:
  • Approved.
  • Approved with guidance.
  • Failed.
  • Approved papers will proceed to the next stage and may be included in the Conference Proceedings.
  • Stage 2: Oral Presentation.
  • Dates: May 11 and 12, 2026.
  • The papers approved in the previous stage will be presented in oral communication sessions, organized between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with a maximum duration of 10 minutes per presentation.
  • Presentations will take place according to the chosen modality (in person or online), with no possibility of changing the format, date, or time. The schedule will be set by the Organizing Committee.
  • Step 3: Submission of the Full Article.
  • Deadline: June 13, 2026.
  • After the oral presentation, authors may submit the full article for publication in the Conference Proceedings, provided that the work has been approved in the previous stages.

The proceedings of the IV SESI-SP International Education Congress will be published exclusively with the full articles approved in the submission and oral presentation stages.
Yes. The following certificates will be issued:
  • Certificate of Participation: for all registrants who attend the event.
  • Certificate of Presentation: for authors who present approved papers.
  • Publication in the Conference Proceedings: for participants who submit the full article and have their work approved by the Scientific Committee.
  • Attention: item 3.7 of the call for papers It is the sole responsibility of the main author to correctly include co-authors in the Congress platform panel, providing the full and correctly spelled name of each co-author at the time of submission. Presentation certificates will be made available exclusively on the author's panel, and it is the author's responsibility to download and forward the certificates to the respective co-authors. No subsequent changes to the names provided will be allowed, and any spelling errors are the sole responsibility of the author.

Yes. The lectures will be available for access on the website until 11:59 p.m. on May 12, 2026, even after the live broadcast. The certificate of participation will only be issued to those who register online and access at least one Congress activity on May 11 and 12, 2026. No certificate will be issued to those who do not access the activities.
